Mars Got No WiFi

It's been ages since my last outfit post. Got lazy coz boyf's not around to take my pictures - lame, lame, lame. I know. And I feel bad coz its kind of a let down to those who decided to follow my blog. So, sorry 'bout that. No promises, but will lure myself to get hooked once more. ;) Thanks to Denise's hard push, i'm back to blogging.

Anyhow, I think I managed to get decent photos courtesy of Denise and our coffee dates, strolls and whatnots. So yay! This was dated way back first hits of march when we sort of discussed bout our recent shoot and some future plans. (see denise's for date reference... lmaooo)

Anywayhigwaymyway, keeping this rather short - coz obviously, there's a lot of catching up I hafta make! >.<

Christmas Stroll

Here's to the Christmas week:
1. Stroll around Eastwood. Had coffee - and here's my baby, tired from all the people greeting her gorgeous. :)
Santa Baby: Barguette in her Mrs. Claus outfit.
2. Nothing new stepping on this wanna-be hollywood walk of fame thing going on in Eastwood. But that moment, I found myself amused by it taking my wildest imagination to play - that I'm actually in hollywood stepping on the tourist attraction, walk-of-fame along with my boyfriend. O_O

 3. Never been as time conscious, 'til now. This is my cheapang watch. Bought it for 200php from Rockwell's early December bazaar. Anyway, I was just trying out my phone's lomo app. And I am amused by it.
 4. Outfit Post:
sleeveless polo - ensembles; mustard crochet dress - fickle; flats - primark'

How was 2010's holiday season break to you? (:

Torn Between Two Timezones.

Hello Christmas!

It's the night before Christmas. Yay! I cooked Pesto Pasta and Grilled Steak with Gravy for the fambam. Ugh! Never thought cooking was that stressful.

ANYWAY. After sweating like a pig in the kitchen, I got all dressed up for dinner --- just at our humble home. And this is what I came up with:
Not the typical all red ensemble, i know. I went all basics to highlight the tiniest red detail i'm wearing --- my lips! After the lovely dinner with my Mom, Dad, Aunt, Ninang and house help; after exchanging gifts, hugs and kisses... I went straight up my room, went online and greeted my Baba "Merry Christmas."

Though there are lots of means for us to talk --- skype, facebook, ym, vonage and cellphones, nothing beats seeing him face to face, feeling his warmth through his embrace. But nothing can be done - that's us right now, this will be us for quite a while.

I can't wait to see him again. In person, and relive all events we've missed and what's left to miss. :(

Later loves!

Weekend Suicide

This is what I wore to my make-up gig last Saturday. The gig was a success since the group I did took the Grand Prize. :) Expecting the loooong day ahead of me, I decided to wear something really loose and comfy. I wore flats knowing that I'll be standing most of the time bending my back towards the face of my clients. But of course, i kept a pair of platforms in the car just in case boyf decides to go dine and chill after.

And he did ask that we both reward ourselves from a stressful yet fulfilling day so I changed my flats and wore my ever reliable Parisian wedge - the ulitmate "bugbog-able" shoes.
We had the best burger to date at Murray and D'vine. Winner ang burger. On top of that they do offer guinness!!! My favorite beer! I didn't get to sip on that though 'coz it wasn't available that day. Instead I had cranberry juice along with my Veggie Burger:
never expected veggie
to be that meaty.

Canned, i suppose.

mac /n cheese - nothing that spectacular

love boyf's kobe burger.
Oh, after munching down all these --- boyf and I felt like we're gonna die. And I said, "good thing I wore something loose."

Later Lovelies!

Skirts Can Dance.

Packed weekend but I enjoyed it. Saturday's make-up gig was a blast - my client won the competition! So yay! :) But it was really tiring as I was on my feet from 2pm 'til 9pm.

Today was my good friend's son's Christening. And boyf and I covered the event as part of our gift. (: But all these has nothing to do with what I'm wearing. I'll be posting the photos from all stated in my next post.
I wore this one last week when boyf and I went on a random date.
I've had this skirt kept inside the closet for quite some time. Never thought it'd look great with a rock DIY sleeveless top as the belt that came with it has a floral buckle.
Boyf told me to play with the skirt but was not in the mood. YET. (shot in my room ---
see the layers of paper used to serve as the backdrop's extension towards the floor? also
please excuse the desk and the uncovered floor :P)
and so i enjoyed doing the twirls.
top - DIY
skirt - thrifted
lace up boots - Parisian

For the mean time if you have some time to spare, please do check out Bestie's blog, "The Capricious Club". She featured me in her Fashionable Friends segment.

There Goes My Friday Night

Top - Pretty and Perfect Shop; Leggings & Shoes - People 'r People;
Bangles - Accessorize; Necklace - G.Gozum

Quite a day today I must say. Long drives - short stops. Craaaaazy!

I enrolled at A1, Araneta Branch for a refresher class - just coz I really didn't took driving seriously back then. And yeah, the 'rents were a bit hesitant with the idea of me driving 'coz they'd probably see me less often than me having them or someone else drive me. Yeah yeah. Sheltered. But things change -- so yay! Besides, I really hafta learn and practice before I leave for the States.

Anyway. After that we rushed all the way to Cartimar, Pasay. Boyf had to bench in his fish entry before 5pm and the traffic was, as always, terrible. But we made it -- so yay!

Then we drove back to Makati to pick up my mum for a dinner date (she's hangin' out with us just coz dad's away right now). We thought it was gonna be an easy ride since Pasay's just near Makati. But NO. Took us about an hour and a half to get to Ayala. So while we were stuck in bad traffic mum was walking around the mall - ugh! Unfair.

So we ended up eating around 9 and because traffic was still bad. We got home around 11pm and boyf was too tired to drive around and grab a cup of coffee. O_o

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Have a make-up gig tomorrow --- in Makati. Will post photos of the outcome after! Oh, also.. I hope boyf wins a place in the Fighting Fish Charity competition.

Smells like Christmas Eve

Today was really ---. Fill in the blank.

I'm finally done with the guestbook and invites of my friend's son, Carlisle. Well actually, the invites were done late last week. And we just rushed the guestbook.
a page from the guestbook. that's carlise - he's only 2 months old, and he weighs 18lbs.
Anyway, it's the 1st of December and Christmas is just 'round the corner. Excuse the cynical tone, but im not that giddy bout it. Boyf's leaving within the month (date still unknown, which to'lly sucks) --- and I'm seriously freakin' out. This isn't the first time he's leaving -- but this will be the first time we'll be away from each other on Christmas eve. He needs to go back there coz his fam bam's there, and he needs to maintain his residency yadah. I'm not being all that selfish-choose-between-me-and-your-fam kind of person now, but sometimes I do really ask my self why things has to be this way. So there goes the sob sob sob.
 Yeah. Cry some more...
...and shrugged it off. Tears won't solve this. I hafta practice lots of patience and just grow and accept the distance. (that'll be hard!!!)

To veer away from all these thoughts I dressed up like an artsy fartsy elf. I'm not really sure if this look's close to what Christmas elves look like --  but that's how I felt in this shirt, vest and shorts. :P
mum's vest, random brand shirt, weekender shorts, bazaar bangles & necklace,
forever 21 clogs

So this is my mini studio - my room. Excuse the raw wood stuff as it's under renovation. We usually tape white  sheets of cartolina from the wall all the way to where I'm standing to make it look like a seemless backdrop. This time, we decided to drop the studio feel and show my messed up room. Lol. I'm thinking of painting the wall in different shades so i can have options when I'm sick of posing behind a white wall.

Later alligat-er!

I'm all Packed

I'm all packed with bags round my eyes. Hope all sleepless nights pay off a good deal real soon! :) Wore this to a night out with my boyf's family. (will post pictures -- later, maybe)

Keeping this post short as I'm heading to my friend's place to work on some cool souvenirs for her son's baptism.

I Love the Way You ---

And so I'm keeping it real -- i don't want to be detached from my blog anymore. I swear. It feels so much better to let go of what happened and to release some creative may it be in the manner of my rapid typing or such.

This one's a quick post.

I'm so in love with how these wedges fit that I've been wearing them pretty much everyday - since I got 'em. This time, i tried it with my shorts and loose fitting shirt when we brought our dog to Tiende.
She got her doze of Christmas shopping, while I ended up with -- nothing. Guess it's Barguette's turn to do some shopping. :)

We had dinner there - and I am Oh-So-Full. Thanks to the loose fit, my bloated tummy's not showing.

Later folks. Have an early appointment tomorrow. HINT: Invitations - watchatink?

Back from Stone Age

Hello there friends!!!

I've been gone for too long -  that i feel like i'm blogging for the first time. There are so many things to catch up from everyone I follow.

Oh I MISSED the blogging world so much!

As for the brief hiatus -- i've been all sick, and busy with photoshoots left and right with of course, the boyf. Included in our shoot was my collection where it's online launch has been put on hold due to all the things i have to juggle. :) So instead of giving you a specific date of when's it coming out - i just gotta tell you to really watch out for it coz things are now cooking fast!!! :) Clothes on a model and detailed shot were already taken. Editing is actually done already. The site's running - but going under some minor design re-construction. So gear up your facebook and multiply pages :)

Here's a teaser for you:
Pixelated - i know! :) So please do watch out for it!
On to my latest outfit post:
Here I'm wearing my newly acquired wedges which I love to bits. Yes, it's from parisian - and I got it discounted after the fashionweek. :) There's also another one that I bought that kind of looks like a JC rip off. I'm still dreaming of slipping my feet inside a JC and an ACNE pair though.
I wore this last weekend for my make-up gig. It was for the Barbie Fairytale Fashion Show. I love doing kids' make-up. It's both challenging and fun. :) Oh, I'm also wearing the UK flag tee once again.
Manila's weather has been acting up since, so instead of wearing mini's (which makes my legs prone from getting wet) i went for my ever trusted leggings. And then I added my sleeveless coat with lovely button details for warmth - and just to save my grace coz the shirt's almost see through when wet. :)
Anyway, I am hoping that this week, i'll have more time to blog and post as I used to.

Later alligat-errrr. Lotsoflove,

I Like it Long and Dark

Hello Everyone!

It's been friggin' long! I know! I missed blogger and chictopia!

I'm still very busy fixing papers left and right (yes you heard it right, we're planning to leave for Cali next year so we have to rush everything). Not to mention squeezing in international license application. Thanks to AAP's assistance. Also, I've been very busy prepping for -----, my vintage store. Promise to reveal full details by this week. :) Yep! You saw it right. THIS week! So to locals, and internationals watch out for it! :)

Anyway. Went christmas shopping for my pup last weekend. Since she was in her favorite jumpsuit, I

decided to put on my fave trend as of the moment - Maxi Skirts.

That's all for now. Have an early appointment tomorrow - that I cannot miss! :)
