Hide from the Cratered Ball.

Say hello to my moonglasses! Chos.. Seriously I never pictured myself wearing sunglasses under the moonlight. But today's an exception.

I am currently obsessed with my newly-bought pair of sunglasses that I wore it with my saturday outfit in my late night shoot. I had to.
It is a random vintage brand Clubmasters with metal frame support which I got from Pretty and Perfect Closet at the Dare to Unveil Bazaar in A.Venue Mall (bazaar's 'til tomorrow, Oct. 10, 2010). I also got a pair of clubmaster glasses that's equally vintagorgeous!
Pardon me. I love it too, and I had to wear it somewhere in  between the shoot even if it doesn't really go that well with my look. But hey, the leopard bracket matches my bangles somehow. Excuses. Excuses. Chos!
If you've notcied, my outfit's full of basic elements dressed up with accessories and a beige complement. Just to kill the grayscale-ness of it. :)

To fellow f'lips, have a good night's rest! International friends, have a great day ahead! <333

Thrift Finds: Gotta love the dresses then some.

Hello fellow bloggers!
Hope your day went fabulastic!
Before I head on what I wore today, allow me to share the long lost thrift finds i've been talking about last week!

I know.. I know.. I've had serious attempts of posting about my thrift finds for the longest time, and I failed. I took a chance right now, and voila! Guess the photo uploader sucked last weekend.
Here are my recent thrift finds - that I haven't worn as of yet. They're all clean and that but I just couldn't think of what to match with what. So they're locked up in my bloated closet for now.
MAXI SKIRT
1. Polka-dotted maxi skirt that came with a belt with a silver floral-ish buckle.
DRESSES:
1. Yellow Knit Mini Dress with lovely details.

Closer look at the details.
2. Thailand-ish dress - look at the elephant details! I love it!

I really love the colors and print on this dress!!!
BUTTON DOWNS:
1. Blue Striped Button down with Pink rose detail

2. Japanese Floral Details

3. Vintage Print button down

As for today's outfit, I wore something thrifted (black skort), borrowed (yellow shirt) and bought (white sheer floral top & topshop floral flats).  Have a nice weekend everyone!

That's all for now! Enjoy the rest of the night!

Table Cloth

Hello Everyone!

How was your day so far?

Today was rather sunny than gloomy rain-cloud. Chose to wear something within my comfort zone which explains the shorts. :) At first my mum had to laugh at it teasing my as to why i turned our table cloth into a pair of shirts - but then she realized that the fit / structure's nice. And back in her old days, she really was into wide-legged shorts and culottes herself.

Anyway, I paired it with an off white shirt, cinched the waist with a thrifted belt which is kind of giving up on me already, and of course, the most loved thrifted item of the week - my DM's :)

'til next post!

Rudolf, Giddy-YUP!

Hello Everyone!
Hope your day went super. Mine did :)
With all the good news I'm receiving the past few days (my package from the US is confirmed to arrive last week of this month, and the business) making me all that giddy, I chose to wear something that reminds me so much of Christmas.
I got this from a thrift store for only $3. I almost dropped it from my cart given its print, but I still went for it.

I'm so in love with it's structure and the print's plain fun and rudolf-ish, haha! I wore it with my leggings, red socks and as promised, this week's staple - my doc marten's. :)
I had to keep it simple given all the tassel and prints going on.

That's all for now!

All About the Boots

Hello everyone!

I've been M.I.A for a couple of days now, and I apologize for that. And I kinda feel sorry that I'm sharing just a little bit more than what's in my chictopia but i'm really pressed for time. (not in the work way, ahuh!) Today's more relaxed than yesterday. Aside from the thrifting (which I will be posting about tomorrow), Saturday was more like the run-the-errands-and-rush-everything-and-go-attend-the-family-friends’-celebration day which explains why i didn't post a thing in my chictopia that day.
For my outfit, I chose to layer more going to the cinema today. We watched Legend of the Guardians and i must say that the animation’s superb!

Details were sooooo realistic. I just wish Philippine movie industry would take that kind of leap in film making.
Okay, going back to my outfit, i wore my “new” doc martens.

Its a recent thrifting purchase and I feel like I won the lottery – thanks to the boyf who found it – coz i got it for Php 150 (that's more or less $3)!!!!

The leather has the perfect “worn out” look – and the color is just awesome. So I decided to play around it and paired it with my bazaar find polka-dotted playsuit.

It was a good grab too as I bought it for only Php 200 ($ 4). Movie houses here tend to be really chilly that’s why i wore tights under and my favorite bow print cardi over my romper. :)
I like how the look turned out with my boots, I wasn’t in the mood when boyf took this photo, though. lol :) Oh, i’m so in love with this pair of boots and i’m thinking of more ways to style around it – i think I’ll use it as my staple for the entire week (oh, that’d be a great challenge).

'Til next post!!!!
